Reunite the Woods
Help us reach our target of £5,000 - your donation will be match-funded to £10,000 by the Dulwich Society!
Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood will secure the long-term future of the largest remaining tract of the ancient Great North Wood landscape in South London, by uniting the two woods under the management of the London Wildlife Trust.
Over a three-year period, the project should transform some 27 hectares of urban woodland for visitors, volunteers and other users whilst ensuring that its precious ancient woodland habitat is protected.
Help us reach our £5,000 target, and the Dulwich Society will generously provide up to £5,000 of match-funding. Donations raised above our £5,000 target will not be match-funded, but will still go towards the project.

Funding the project
The total project cost (including capital works, staffing and activities) is £1.5 million. London Wildlife Trust has been awarded £1,020,000 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund towards this cost, but needs to secure an additional £240,000 from third parties as match-funding for the project, so your support is vital.
