School sessions at London Wildlife Trust
London Wildlife Trust’s Outdoor Learning Team welcomes more than 10,000 school children to our nature reserves each year. We facilitate school sessions across 12 of our nature reserves, offering the chance for classes to explore various habitats and discover the wildlife that live there.
We offer two types of school sessions: centre-led visits and self-led visits. Centre-led visits, available at 6 of our reserves, include activities guided by a member of our Outdoor Learning Team. Self-led visits, available at 10 of our reserves, allow your group to explore independently. As well as schools, our sessions are also suitable for homeschool groups, Scout groups and community groups.

Safety
All our activities and sites have been extensively risk assessed. All staff are fully trained with enhanced DBS checks. We have implemented extra measures to ensure our outdoor learning sessions are safe for staff and participants. These are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
