A beginners guide to bumblebees where you'll find out more about these wonderful insects - what makes a bumblebee a bumblebee, the different species we have at Walthamstow Wetlands, where to find them and why they're so important for our ecosystems.
This workshop will be completely outdoors and we'll be walking around the parts of the reserve to observe bumblebees in their natural habitat. There may be some uneven paths so please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. We'll also have a bumblebee - making craft activity for you to take part in.
This event is aimed at people aged 18 and over. Further information will be sent out prior to the event.
All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
