Exhibition: crossing A bridge by Artist Deborah Frank
Walthamstow Wetlands,
Walthamstow Wetlands, 2 Forest Road , Walthamstow, London, N17 9NHAbout the event
‘crossing A bridge’ is the first solo exhibition by artist in training Deborah Frank. The series of landscapes are a response to how the eye sees, reads and understands the rivers flow and movement. Its broken, meandering, swelling and constant presence within the landscape is a rhythmic reminder of the sometimes slow, other times flooding changes of perspective and wellbeing in the artist’s life.
Having grown up near Epping Forest, Deborah's appreciation for the natural world is interwoven with her art practice. She is currently completing a BA in Contemporary Portraiture at The Art Academy. Her work documents her surroundings, which she then narrates from her own lens. Alongside figurative contemporaries, her work has been featured in the ROI, FBA and local art trails.
crossing A bridge is a free exhibition and is open every day from Saturday 26 April until Wednesday 9 June.
