About the event

This workshop invites you to use drawing as an invitation to look more closely at the reserve, to notice and appreciate the often overlooked details in nature; the patterns on the water, the complexity of wildflowers, the surprising undersides of leaves. We will be spending two meditative hours exploring the green space to create unique and personal artworks. There will be a wide variety of materials with which to experiment and Jennie will be providing creative guidance and plenty of positive encouragement to help you get the most out of the class. There is much joy to be found in observing details, and we will aim to capture this concept in our drawings.

Jennie will be covering the basics of observational drawing with demonstrations and examples at the beginning, and can provide advice on working with different mediums. All materials will be provided for this class and all ability levels are welcome.
