Nature recovery programme
Wildlife in London is facing challenges on multiple fronts, including habitat loss and pollution.
Our key aim is to secure the protection of existing ecological assets, and enhance the biodiversity of others to bring about a greater ecological resilience to the network of greenspaces across the capital.
From the management of 36 natures reserves for biodiversity to a rewilding programme to restore ecosystems for species reintroductions, there are a range of projects to choose from.
By partnering with us you will help to protect and enhance a network of nature reserves across London to act as ecological oases for wildlife and people.
Investec is proud to partner with London Wildlife Trust, supporting the vital conservation of London's unique chalk downland. We are inspiring our people through participation in 'Wild Work Days' and supporting under-represented youth in London through our partnership with the Trust and their innovative “Keeping it Wild” programme, is a natural extension to our commitment and focus to create enduring worth.Investec

Wild About Learning
By supporting our Wild About Learning programme, you company will enable us to educate and inspire Londoners to connect with and advocate for nature, especially people facing barriers to accessing nature.
We provide hands-on nature lessons directly linked to the National Curriculum engaging over 10,000 children each year.
Unlike classroom learning, which can provide limited opportunities for children who do not learn well by traditional methods, outdoor learning harnesses all learning styles – kinaesthetic, visual, auditory, making learning more accessible and enjoyable to those children who need different ways of learning to achieve their potential. Our Wild About Learning programme delivers the following benefits for young people:
-
Increased life chances through education;
-
Increased social and personal development skills;
-
Improved health and wellbeing.
We also provide family Learning sessions to give parents the opportunity to learn alongside their children allowing for quality time together that is educational and fun.
Thank you so much! I've had wonderful feedback from class teachers about the sessions who said how delightful it was to learn so much about our trees, in particular all the little details you taught them. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this develops into their STEM projects.Head teacher from primary school, near Camley Street Natural Park
